Program of the weekend

Saturday afternoon

• Welcome to Rennes at the Commandant Bougouin sports complex
• race numbers retrieval
• meeting with others unicyclists, exchanges around our equipment and our practices
• informal shorts races (free size wheel) on track (100 m, 1 500 m)
• stroll along the Vilaine river
• possible dinner at a restaurant in the city center

Sunday morning

• meeting point at the site of mi-forêt (forest of Rennes) from 8:30 a.m
• race numbers retrieval (if not already retrieved on Saturday), warm-up
• 9:40 a.m — 9:50 a.m: call of the competitors, go to the starting line (close to the carpark)
• 10:00 a.m: start
• 1:00 p.m: podium on the spot

Types of races

• half-marathon (21,097 km), categories Standard (29″) and Unlimited.
• marathon (42,195 km), categories Standard (29″) and Unlimited.

Age categories

Rankings will be made within each age category containing at least 6 participants.

The marathon is open to riders as young as 16, while the half-marathon is open to riders as young as 13.

Riders under 18 must have a written parental consent.

The course

The course takes place in a forest 15 km away from Rennes, on bicycle paths and wide countryside roads, thus making it almost car-free.

The course, designed for SPEED, is made of an 870 m long straight line followed by two laps on a 20.66 km long loop (only one lap for the half-marathon).

Price: 15€/participant until the 2017-01-10 (inclusive), then 20€ until the 2017-05-10, then 30€/participant until the deadline.

Payment: All payments (registration and options: transport from Rennes to the forest, T-shirt) are done through PayPal. You can pay the basic registration first, then add options later, such as when the T-shirt’s design is announced.
